Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect through https://codeintime.com, what we use it for, and what rights you have over it.

1. What we collect and why

We only process data you provide voluntarily. We do not buy contact databases and we do not obtain your data from third parties.

Contact form

• Data: name, email address, company (optional) and the content of your message.
• Purpose: to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, continue the business conversation you started.
• Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by submitting the form, next to which this policy is referenced.
• Retention: while we handle your enquiry and for up to 12 months after the last contact. If a contractual relationship follows, data is kept for the duration of the contract and any applicable statutory limitation periods.

Client portal

• Data: name, email, company and the content of the tickets, comments and files you upload.
• Purpose: to provide the contracted project and issue tracking service.
• Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Retention: for the duration of the contractual relationship and applicable statutory periods thereafter.

Server logs

• Data: IP address, date and time, browser type and pages requested.
• Purpose: site security, abuse prevention and error diagnostics.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and available (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Retention: logs are kept for short periods according to our hosting provider's configuration.

2. Cookies

This site uses no analytics or profiling cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no social media pixels and no behavioural tracking tools.

Google Ads tag, without cookies. We advertise our services on Google and use the Google Ads tag to learn whether a submitted form came from one of those ads. The tag runs in consent-denied mode: it sets no cookies and Google only receives aggregated data that does not identify you. That is why you will not see a cookie banner.

The remaining cookies are technical and strictly necessary: they keep you signed in to the client portal and the login area. These are exempt from the prior consent requirement. You can delete them from your browser at any time, which will end your session.

Your language preference is kept in the browser's local storage, not in a cookie, and is not used to identify you.

3. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time, and withdraw any consent you have given without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To do so, write to info@codeintime.com stating which right you wish to exercise. We will respond within one month.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

4. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit via HTTPS, role-based access control in the portal, and limiting access to information to staff who need it for their work.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or new tools. The date of the latest revision appears at the top of this page.
